Two weeks ago I replaced the coolant temp sensor after noticing the gauge went to zero reading while driving and message about "steering assist reduced" on dash. Again today the gauge has gone to zero, shitting of AC compressor and running the cooling fans on high.This symptom is called "flare-up" during shifts. 4k rpm seems high but that depends on what rpm you are at when the transmission begins to shift.
