Botw infinite durability

As a new BOTW player, I’m not the biggest fan of the weapon durability and find it a bit frustrating. However, I don’t want to set the durability mod to infinite as I could see this breaking some of the games systems (ie shrine collectables). Is there a “sweet spot” for the item durability multiplier?
