Botw second wind

I would like to try the BOTW Second Wind Mod. I really enjoyed the BOTW. Luckily, I do have an extra Nintendo Switch that I can try on. But still, I'm worried that at some point, installing the mod will leave my Nintendo Switch permanently broken. Ideally, I would like to reset back to original mfg. default settings if anything goes wrong.
