Ranger gets a decent amount of skill points per lvl, so it will allow you to maintain those skills as you lvl so you can disable traps (and pick locks). Can do traps use a rune arm, is focused on CC spells but can still do decent aoe damage and has high single target with crossbow and inquisitive.
