2002 Odyssey Flashing D Light/ATF Temp Switch. Got the dreaded 'flashing D' on the dash 3 weeks ago with no other indicators (check engine, traction control, etc.). Thanks to the hard work, knowledge, & great posts on this forum was able to have Auto Zone pull a P0710 code, problem with the ATF Temperature Sensor.

No more flashing "D" coming back so far and it appears to be shifting fine. Also, the technician did say that the transmission fluid was fairly "dirty" but nothing abnormal. 1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0). 2. Use a tire pressure gauge with a bleeder valve to quickly lower the pressure in one tire to 18 psi or less. Had no other trans problems since. Trans still runs smooth like it always has!
