I am looking for people's experience / advice / pictures on their HK91 builds from a G3 parts kit or maybe I should refer to it as a G3 semi. I am aware that a complete PTR can be purchased for around $1000, but I already have the parts and a couple of receivers.

Pull the handgaurd and look at the barrel in front of the trunnion for the markings to see what parts kit it was built from. Also check the bolt head and bolt carrier for their markings. A factory FMP reciever properly built into a G3 using an HK or FMP barrel and bolt carriers would be better than a PTR.
