Gloomhaven personal quest

Hey everyone, me and my friends played tabletop Gloomhaven and turning into digital version recently. We used to play personal quests as secret in tabletop but in the digital version you are able to see everyone's personal quest by just hovering the mouse cursor on each character.

In our Frosthaven campaign we retired two characters today by completing Personal Quest cards. I read carefully through pages 64 and 65, and it has a lot of rules for personal quests, but it doesn't precisely say where the completed cards go. But when playing the actual boardgame at my friends house our house rule is that you can use a previously completed scenario for your personal quest. However, if you need for example "Complete 3 quests in the dagger forest" you can't run the same scenario 3 times to complete it. You'd need to do 3 separate ones. -1.

Completing the requirements listed on the card (X successful scenarios in Y location, if I recall) unlocks the listed scenario.
