I've been summoned for jury duty in Clay County Florida for Monday the 16th of April. I own a small business and I need to be there to operate it, but being a business owner isn't one of the listed reasons for exemption. I understand there's a $100 fine, but I'm more concerned about having a bench warrant issued.
