After going back and forth between Legends and Ohlins, I went with Ohlins. Just finished up riding 3500 miles on two short trips I took and and alls I can say is "the Ohlins are indeed a very nice ride". A friend of mine rode my bike to the store, he came back raving about the ride being so well planted to the rode.Here's the brands and shocks I'm down to and definitely choosing from...not in any order of preference. In terms of the spring rate, it may have been a bit of a trade off for solo. Wife liked over stock. Progressive springs up front are doing the job nicely. Share.
