Merrill’s Money Market Fund is not as good as I thought. Although you can purchase institutional class money market funds in Merrill, those funds are not as good as I thought. Below are my findings: You cannot trade the funds outside trading hours: Like treasuries, you must place orders during trading hours to be able to buy/sell them.
